Good place to stay for...

Liked: Very interesting, historical building. Large room, nicely furnished, overlooking the canal, within walking distance of the old town. Nice terrace in the courtyard, free parking.
Disliked: Windows do not open, fan instead of air conditioning is noisy and doesn’t provide enough cooling.

perfect location for exploring old...

Liked: Room was a little basic in an annex to the side of the main hotel, but it was well priced, staff were lovely and a good hearty breakfast.

Good basic accommodation with excellent...

Liked: Location on edge of old harbour area was convenient. Good bicycle parking but not totally secure - we used locks as well. Very good breakfast - freshly cooked bacon & eggs to order plus all the usual.
Disliked: Bathroom could do with updating as could room. Just looked a bit tired. Felt like a hotel that had seen better days and needed some tlc.

Disliked: No lift but knew this and being an old building it would be out of character!
