Liked: Hotel was right in the middle of town. Very old hotel that had been renovated but kept the old look to it.

Convenient and pleasant overnight stop.

Liked: Cathlamet is a small town with most facilities on one street - where the hotel was. The helpful owner told us the eating options etc. She also gave us a gift for reading all the paperwork for the booking!Clean, well laid out if smallish en suite room overlooking the street and partial view of the mighty Columbia River. Not much noise from the street.(Some rooms no external views, we think.)Atmospheric historical building.They had private parking but we were advised to leave the car in the street opposite the law enforcement office court and cameras!Light continental breakfast available.
Disliked: It was warm when we stayed and we were hot, even with the windows open and ceiling fan. Rooms really need individual a/c. Though apparently there was central a/c, it was not apparent - due to the building fabric ?concrete.

Liked: This was a clean, quirky, fun place to stay. The bed was comfy, the shower was great, and the continental breakfast was good.
