Horrible in every way.

Disliked: The room was so thick with the smell of cigarettes that we had to run the AC continuously otherwise we felt nauseated and sick. Even though the property boasts non smoking signs everywhere. After leaving all of luggage and my hair all wreak of cigarettes. The floors were dirty and there was sticky gunk all over the phone. There was what looks like a drug overdose on our first night there. The booking said there was a pool and hot tub but there were neither of these.

Great place to stay if...

Liked: This is a great place to stay if your visiting the area, the staff is always helpful, the management is the best, and the maintenance team is always doing their best daily to keep things running. I do recommend Red Roof in Springfield, and I think you will as well.

Liked: The mattress was absolutely disgusting and so was the bedding covered in black dog hair (I don't own a dog) and the dresser wasn't secured to the wall and when my 6 year old son came to visit me he went to go open the drawer and it fell over on him. It took them 4 hours to get me checked in and they had to change us rooms 2 times because they tried to put me in a room that was already booked and occupied by other customers the whole stay was a disaster. The only good thing I can say is that the assistant manager was the only reason I stayed she gets 5 stars in my book and should be the one running not the current manager she the worst customer service I've ever experienced, I would fire her and promote the assistant manager or that place ain't gonna be in business for long
