Liked: Excellent location to walk around and pretty park and water area.
Disliked: I did not like being told upon arrival that it was an extra $75 for my pet. That should have been included in the total price or listed when booking and it was NOT. I complained and asked for a partial refund of the $75 but no one wanted to help with that. I talked to 3 executives about it. I understand pet fees but had no idea of this additional charge. The hotel room is high and this made it worse.

Liked: Really appreciated the ability to do an early check in! We live locally and our house was being fogged for rodent waste remediation. We had to be out of house asking with our pets.

Liked: Rooms were very spacious and clean .. breakfast had a nice spread but mostly packaged food heated and a few freshly made foods . But overall it was a decent spread .. outdoor fireplace and lounge seating were very comfortable and clean and they also had a few board games for kids .. very nice stay overall ..
Disliked: The trash cans in the room could have been a bit bigger . The hotel shower could have had a hand shower for the kids and a few healthy choices in the breakfast .

Liked: The hotel was very clean, comfortable , welcoming, restful and in a good location
Disliked: The front desk people a d Booking.com could not communicate well. 6 weeks before our stay I changed the date from 4 days to 2 days. According to the front desk, Booking.com never told them. I showed up to check in and they said I was already check in. Someone went up to the room to check. I was right. I finally convinced a supervisor that my date had changed. She agreed and said I would not be charged for the extra 2 nights. On checking out I found I was charged for 3 nights instead of 2. I had an early departure so could not deal with it. I guess Home 2 Suites and Booking.com win.
