Nanci, San Diego, visiting Hollywood Bowl

The room we were in had 2 double beds, microwave and mini fridge. Comfy for a quick visit. A few things were torn and shabby but basically clean in our room.

Liked: Location good for easy walk to Hollywood Bowl.
Disliked: Very hard to find - a bit confusing.

Misleading and Dirty – Very...

Disliked: I stayed at Hollywood VIP Hotel with my family, and I’m very disappointed. One of the main reasons we booked this place was because they advertised breakfast included—which is helpful when traveling with a child—but what they called “breakfast” was a complete joke. It was basically just coffee, sugar, powdered creamer, and some dry cereal with no milk or proper options. Nothing that could be considered a real breakfast.The room was extremely dirty. The floors were filthy, and it didn’t seem like they had been cleaned at all. We had a room with two queen beds, but one of the beds had sheets that looked like they hadn’t been changed after someone else had slept there—very unsettling.Additionally, the room had no basic amenities. Besides a tiny bar of hand soap, there was no shampoo, no conditioner, nothing else provided.I do not recommend this hotel, especially for families. It’s misleading, dirty, and poorly maintained.
