Hollywood VIP Hotel

The room we were in had 2 double beds, microwave and mini fridge. Comfy for a quick visit. A few things were torn and shabby but basically clean in our room.

Liked: Location good for easy walk to Hollywood Bowl.
Disliked: Very hard to find - a bit confusing.

Liked: It was very close to the Hollywood Bowl where we were seeing a concert. There was a parking lot for hotel members.
Disliked: Both customer service people had underlying attitudes. I stayed quiet to get through it. I was charged $30.00 to use the parking lot for the hotel. The "breakfast" area was not welcoming or desirable and only open 1 hour for cereal and coffee, not hospitable. The glass doors were dirty smudged and all of the hotel doors and door jams were dirty and needed to be wiped with soapy water and a rag. The entrance was locked. They had to buzz us in. Probably for safety, but not necessary in broad daylight at the front door next to the desk. It was a little overkill. It felt dirty. I won't be back.

Exceptional

Liked: What's not to like about this place! It's clean, the staff is friendly, there right off of Hollywood Blvd. Close enough to enjoy the blvd, yet far enough back to feel safe and have some space. They offer a small free breakfast in the morning and they don't bother you, if you need or would like something just ask otherwise they give you your space!
Disliked: The parking, if I had to pick something that was less than ideal, I'd have to go with the parking situation....
