Hollywood VIP Hotel

The room we were in had 2 double beds, microwave and mini fridge. Comfy for a quick visit. A few things were torn and shabby but basically clean in our room.

Liked: Location good for easy walk to Hollywood Bowl.
Disliked: Very hard to find - a bit confusing.

Bad

Liked: I was sworn at by the manager for having a clogged toilet multiple times and for nir being able to have a shower as there was no hot water. Apparently you need to turn the kitchen sink water on together hot shower water but when that didn't work,the shower stayed on and it drink continuously for more than eight hours so I got no sleep all night. In the morning I couldn't take it anymore so I put a towel to kill the noise and the new staff on duty,one of the rudest people I have ever met asks me why I did that to the towel.Another customer showed me a video of a homeless man showering in his room when he and his partner arrived back to the room,then shows the staff trying to get this naked man out of the shower and she thought it amusing. And no question on how he got into a key card locked door. I was mortified and the only thing they did was move the couple to another room and give a couple of packets of free cereal. I kept asking for my money back to go to another hotel as booking.com says you can get a return but Apparently on arrival when I paid they pushed the I accept terms and conditions past so you don't see it and the skinny rude staff actually yelled at me and said yr not get one. So I was stuck there.Giving me death stares and speaking to me rudely until I couldn't take it anymore and had to tell her off. The night girl doesn't speak,doesn't know how to fix anything and just lurches creepily in the chair like a statue that doesn't move actually scaring me the first time I met her. The loud woman was nice until my room started falling apart and swore at me and then said she shouldn't have.The beds sink,my spine was killing me.
Disliked: Everything,it's not really clean. It's noisy and you hear everything. The beds are terrible. Apart from the location there was nothing nice about it. Booking.com do not appraise there hotels. It's gappened one too many times. It's looks cute on the outside,then a brothel inside. Tiling stacked yo against the wall. It was truly awful.

Exceptional

Overrall my experience was great...

Liked: I loved how comfortable the bed was! I even had to find out the brand of pillow they used it was so comfy !
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t like is I think that the shower could’ve been a little bit more cleaner but it also could have just been stains

Comfortable Stay

Liked: Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable.

Liked: it’s a pretty room lobby was nice clean
Disliked: the beds were super uncomfortable they’re hard me and my family woke up with our body’s aching

Disliked: We paid extra for complimentary breakfast and was given old cereal with milk that had been left out in a pitcher and coffee that was breakfast that's it. Was charged for daily parking and our bed sunk to the middle not worth the price they charge

Passable

Liked: The staff was very friendly and accommodating and helped us navigate to the parking lot.
Disliked: The hold on my debit / credit card for 30 days which would’ve been very useful for some of my personal expenses.

Not good for value

Liked: Washroom too small and at list provided can water in room
