Quaint Jersey City Motel with...

Liked: I was in town for the Jersey City Marathon and they let me check in when I arrived!! I showed up before noon! That was super helpful so I could rest and relax before the big race. They had a pretty decent breakfast too and coffee/tea available all day.
Disliked: It’s right by the Holland Tunnel so traffic is very busy. But the location is great for getting to the train and getting picked up by Uber.

Liked: Complimentary was okay. I would have preferred waffles and eggs with coffee.
Disliked: The hot water in the shower was not working properly. The hot water was cold, whereby I had to get out of the cold shower and bathe at the sink. The hot water was much better and hotter than in the shower.

Lovely and convenient place to...

Liked: This jewel of a hotel is small with a very friendly staff. There is no elevator nor coffee set up in the room but the room was good by NYC area standards and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was cold foods but contained delicious pastries, yoghurt, cereal, fruit and coffee and tea, etc. The room was unexpectedly quiet despite being very close to the Holland Tunnel. The location is wonderful since the PATH etc is so close to get into NYC.
Disliked: It was NOT a problem for us but there is no elevator. The steps have a landing where you can stop and rest and we got along fine without an elevator (we are 78 years old) but guests need to keep that in mind.
