Sleep and food deprivation that...

Liked: It was clean and the staff were friendly. We were offered a refund for breakfast one day, but not the other.
Disliked: Kids running up and down the corridor, their supervising adults literally took all the cheese, ham, bacon, eggs, croissants, blueberry muffins, pieces of fruit, cereal in packets, along with cutlery and crockery, on trays, for their lunch and dinner, leaving very little for everyone else. Cold mushrooms and cold beans with warm hash browns one day. Wedding party rave on the second night kept us awake. I couldn't phone reception as the phone in the room didn't work. Loud woman on the phone outside our room the previous night. We intended to use the pool but just wanted to get out of the hell hole. There are no buses to Rochester from here. We chose a hotel out of town to enable a relaxing, quiet weekend. It was the absolute opposite. Noisy, stressful, uncomfortable. My medical condition has been aggravated by the lack of sleep and the stress. If a hotel is for sleeping in, do not hold noisy parties until midnight. If you offer breakfast, ensure it isn't taken by parasitical, vulture types. I don't know how this can be a four star place. I wouldn't recommend it .
