Liked: We stayed in 3 hotels last week, and this was the best hotel experience. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was clean, and the staff was very kind and efficient!

Booking.com CANCELED MY RESERVATION AND...
Liked: I liked the girl at the front desk. She was kind and tried everything she could to apologize for the inconvenience and out right infuriating situation of Booking.com canceling my reservation without me knowing in a hotel I booked weeks prior that immediately gave my room away and became completely booked
Disliked: I did NOT like the fact that I had to stay a a separate hotel than my son's robotics team that was there for state competition. I booked the Sam hotel the team did so I could be available if my 10yr old needed anything and my 8yr old to hang out with his brother and friends on the team. However since booking.com CANCELED MY RESERVATION without my knowledge nor permission I had to run back and forth from another hotel to this property for two days!!!!

Exceptional
Liked: The staff was friendly, helpful, patient and just overall amazing. They treated not only my kids well but the kids in the school trip that we accompanied as well. Easily one of the best places ive ever stayed. And i will keep it in mind next time and use the hotel again.
Disliked: Having to leave lol.

We had to stay somewhere...
Disliked: The young girl working the desk was dismissive and rude when we walked in. She was not helpful and came across snarky when I asked her questions to try and resolve the reservation issue. In my past experience, when there is a reservation issue, the employee conducted themselves with compassion and used customer service as their way of helping resolve the issue without adding frustration to the issue. Booking.com dropped the ball on sending my reservation to the hotel so when we arrived the girl already knew that she wasn’t going to help us as the hotel had no rooms left. She just kept repeating there was no reservation under my name. Didn’t try to explain or help accommodate. On top of that, at the time booking.com called the hotel to confirm there was no reservation, I had already left the hotel to try and find another. I accidentally left my wallet at the desk. The girl knew I left it and didn’t ask booking.com to give me the message when they were on the phone w her and I was on hold w booking.com. She knew better and again showed she was not a good representative of Holiday Inn.

Great staff, clean rooms and...
Liked: Great staff. They were so sweet to my kids and even gave them little prizes from a treasure box. Also the breakfast far exceeded our expectations from the usual continental breakfast. So many options, even for my picky eater. Another wonderful thing about the property was the little shop by the desk had great options that were so reasonably priced. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a snack stand in a hotel that wasn’t outrageously priced, but this one was.
Disliked: The only complaint I have is the pool was SO COLD. This could be because it was November but I swear my youngest (3 year old) was shivering and his lips were bluish. I had to pull him out because that was a little scary.
