My stay was routine until...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable as well as the public areas.
Disliked: There was no hot water in the morning to shower. A smaller issue was the receipt was printed with a printer low on ink, so the receipt is not legible.

Liked: Everything, except the check in, person was very rude.. acted as if he could not find my reservation, told me it was at another location, as I turned to walk away he said he found it.. and gave me a lame excuse bout how it was made on the reservation.. when I received my receipt everything was correct.. he keep looking away flipping his eyes .. no direct contact with his costumer, I stood there every bit of 15 minutes before he found my reservation.. poor customer service mind you I called before going to make sure room was ready, cause it was a lil early.. spool with a young lady that confirmed room was ready, he stated she didn’t tell him anything, so that’s where the confusion came in… it was almost as if he didn’t want to help me at all… had I not questioned his responses, I’m sure he would’ve just let me walk out of there and figure it out myself.. people really pay hard earned money for these stays, if it’s not for patrons, the door would be closed.. and he would not have a job to go to.. overall the Hotel was great!! But I most say the person at the desk when we left for our flight was very nice and informative..
Disliked: Check -in poor customer service.

Superb

Liked: location was central to where we needed to be and it was easy to get to
Disliked: the hotel staff was not friendly. we were out of tissues and we did not get house keeping so i went to the front desk, i stood there and waited while the two employees finished their personal conversation, then got an eye roll after with my request

Short stay at HI express...

Liked: The hotel is a bit faded, but the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The location of the elelvator so far from the reception.
