Holiday Inn Express Orlando-Ocoee East

Just went to Orlando for an event and did not want to drive back to Largo so we picked a Holiday Inn Express because we have had a lot of success with them. We have always stayed at a Holiday Inn Express because of the service - we have not found a bad one in 10 years of traveling.

Liked: Excellent room and fitness room and the breakfast was great as well.
Disliked: No the price was very fair; no problems at all.

Staying in the Orlando area once a year has convinced me that most hotels that are reasonably affordable are dumps. This one greatly exceeded my expectations based upon past experience in this area.

Liked: Nice staff. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Probably could have used a lower volume of music in the lobby. Maybe a little cleaner.

Will not stay again

Disliked: When person in room above my room would shower or run water, it would leak thru ceiling and light fixture and into my room. Also ac unit didn’t work fully

Double Charged for Stay -...

Liked: Hotel was fine for a one night stay.
Disliked: I booked through Booking.com. When I arrived at the hotel, I was asked for my card for incidentals. The customer service representative ran my card for the entire amount of the stay and 9 days later and 6 phone calls, I still have not been credited the amount. I have contacted my cc company. Two of my calls went unanswered by the GM (Rochelle). We travel several times per year and will not be staying at a Holiday Inn again.

Liked: Very clean , beds comfortable. Breakfast was good. I also like the 24 coffee in the lobby

Liked: Comfortable bed and kind staff.
Disliked: Funky smell, loose flooring, sketchy area, and roach in the bedroom.

Overall my stay was amazing...

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast everyday was awesome.
Disliked: The location it was hard to figure out how to get into the property.
