Nice, but overpriced for what...

Liked: The check-in staff was nice. Good little breakfast buffet with variety. The rooms were clean.
Disliked: The power went out for a few minutes. Our AC wasn’t working properly. The shower pressure was pretty terrible and it only gets lukewarm. Also my stay was $275 but somehow paid $325 at check out. Still trying to figure that out.

Great staff and location but...

Liked: The staff was very friendly.
Disliked: The room had a strong mildew smell which seemed to abate once I turned off the AC unit. The AC unit definitely needed some detailed cleaning.

Hotel Used My Credit Card...

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Terrible - my credit card, which was presented only at the hotel not an online booking site -- was used to allow someone to stay at the hotel impersonating me for a week after we checked out! Minibar charges and nightly room charges repeatedly processed completely without my authorization. One of the staff said it was another staff's ex boyfriend. Not sure if that's true but absolutely outrageous regardless. Thousands wracked up and every time I tried to call "the manager is gone for the day." I never once got a call back from anyone here. Rather, I had to dispute it with my credit card company and file a law enforcement report.

Disliked: After paying for the room thru booking .com, they charged my card for incidentals. Never had this happen before. Also took extremely long to check in due to confusion on the computer.

Liked: Room very clean and comfortable.Breakfast choice very good.There is NO pool at hotel even tho it is advertised as having a pool.Coffee and hot chocolate available at night was nice surprise.The coffee was from an actual Costa grinding and dispensing machine . Good coffee.Would be suitable as a base to visit Knoxville and surrounds.
