Liked: Good location and friendly staff, except for bartender who told me to hold on a minute, then proceeded to have a personal argument with someone on the phone for the next 10 minutes. Needless to say I didn't get my drink.
Disliked: Beds were used and lumpy. Our room was on 3rd floor and shower insert around drain sunk when weight pushed on it. Possibly rotting floor underneath.

The rooms were nice, and very clean. Dining area and bar area were really nice. What I really liked was how patient and kind the staff was with my grandsons. Most hotels are annoyed by children, but not here. Thanks to all who made our stay so enjoyable! My husband and I intend on returning on our own - we don't want to stay anywhere else.

Liked: After a noise problem on my first night, I spoke to the desk clerk, who apologized and arranged a room move for night 2
Disliked: Many small issues: noise from other guests, a very loud elevator bell (could be turned down alot, heard it all night), very limited channel selection on TV; No Fox news, no MSNBC, only CNN. Pet peeve, I drink tea, and the water from the coffee maker in lobby yields "brown" water. You can taste the coffee residue , which ruins tea. All Holdaiy Inns used to have a separate hot water unit in lobby that had "clean" water, one of the reasons I use HI, as many other hotel chains also had "coffee water". The new unit is a step backwards.
