It was OK but room was not worth what I paid - have stayed in much much nicer rooms for a quarter of the price I paid.
Liked: People that work there were very nice; good location; easy to walk to many places.
Disliked: Room was not what I thought I was paying for - very small for what I paid. Probably wouldn't have paid that much had I known what I was getting.

I took my husband to the hotel and Orchids for dinner. Everything about the hotel and dinner rated a 5.. only drawback was no cable connection for computers in the rooms... we have an IPad so we had to go to the lobby for connection... but everyone and everything else was very, very nice. Above and beyond!
Liked: Staff and accommodation outstanding
Disliked: Didn't have WIFI in room, only lobby.

Liked: It?s beautiful. The tradition is so rich. I loved reading about all the important people who have stayed there. My dad has played many a party there when I was a little girl. This was my first time getting to stay there. I?m a widow who found love again and we celebrated our first anniversary there.
Disliked: I can?t really think of anything.

Perfect stay for our trip...
Liked: The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is gorgeous! The breakfast was delicious as well. The beds were the most comfortable ones we have stayed in over our travels.

Liked: The beds were comfortable and it was in a nice location.
Disliked: We arrived at the hotel at 4:00, which was the posted check-in time. A woman offered to help us and I provided my name for the reservation. She began looking it up on the computer, then walked away and began helping another person. The hotel manager, Joe, appeared at the computer and began typing. He looked up and said, "Didn't anyone tell you what's going on?". I told him no, that someone was helping us, but walked away without saying a word. Joe proceeded to tell me that they did not have our room (2 queens mini suite) ready and he did not know when it would be ready. He said it could be 10 minutes or an hour or more.. I asked why the room wasn't ready and he told me that it was a 'wedding weekend". I'm not quite sure why this would affect the reservation I made in March. He did not have any other explanation. He told us he would call us when a room became available. He called my husband about an hour later stating that they had another room available, but it was a not the mini suite I had reserved. It was a deluxe queen room with a patio, which we had no use for.. We decided to take the room because we had a kid that was hungry and tired. The room was ok and I'm not sure the other room would have been any better. The bathroom was so incredibly small! There was a tiny ledge above the sink and toilet that you couldn't really even use. The toilet was like one in a public bathroom that had a flush that could wake the dead. The bathtub drain was slow and the tub filled up everytime we took a shower. Looking back at the hotel website, there are no pictures of the bathrooms and now I know why! The elevators were so slow and it took 5 to 10 minutes to even catch one to get up to our room or down to the lobby. On our way to check out, 3 out of 8 elevators stopped but they were all too full. After waiting forever, our bellhop took us to the service elevators just so we could get downstairs.

Needs a renovation
Liked: The hotel was in a good location and has a gorgeous lobby.
Disliked: The rooms are very dated and have not been redone for what looks like decades. Just looks run down--the carpet looks worn, there are chips and dents in the walls, the lighting is old, and it isn't as clean as it could be due to it's age.

Liked: I really love that we pulled right in and valet parked our car and the bellhop took our luggage upstairs

Liked: Had dinner in the in house restaurant which was awesome!
Disliked: The king room we had reserved wasn't ready so we settled for a queen that was ready. Room was smaller than we expected.
