Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was really big with an amazing kitchen
Disliked: I didn't like that the room didn't have a proper flat screen tv. The pool wasn't clean and the bed wasn't that comfortable.

Liked: Nice older hotel with beautiful gardens. Ask for room in the back to avoid street noise.
Disliked: Could have used some updating and better cleaning.

Liked: I liked that we were really close to Hollywood Blvd. Everything was in walking distance. The hotel room was really big with a living room and kitchen which was nice. We were basically staying in a one bedroom apartment but the place was really old.
Disliked: It was really hot and the air conditioner didn't work well at all and for some reason we kept getting a lot of little bugs in our bathroom which was gross. I also didn't like that there was no elevator which made it inconvenient having to carry all of our bags upstairs.

Liked: Nice and quiet and kids love the pool.
Disliked: Very outdated not worth the money I paid. No air conditioning in the rooms. I couldn't sleep because I was sweating. The rooms didn't even lock no privacy. And no tv's in the rooms neither.

Liked: The location was good for our trip. Very comfortable beds and quiet room.
The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating.
Disliked: Very small TV with poor reception. Outdated amenities in the room and the price of the room is to much for what you get. I've stayed in lesser motels that offer more. The pool was not heated and no elevators. Very little parking. Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating.

Liked: The location is excellent, being within a brief walk of Dolby Theatre (Oscars venue); Walk of Fame; and excellent public transport options. A brief Uber ride gets you to Universal Studios and the 217 Metro Bus will get you to Farmers Market. Who needs to spend lots of time in a room when there is so much to do close by?
Disliked: Tired and not well appointed. We booked the one bedroom suite for 3 nights and while it was roomy, the inclusions were Spartan - no tea towel, no washing up liquid, one fork, no wine glasses, not much of anything really. It was clean, but customer amenities in the rooms are non-existent. We couldn't operate the air conditioner but the weather was kind and this wasn't an issue. The shower was good and there is enormous storage space in this particular unit.

Disliked: Towels could have been larger for the pool
