Liked: Outdoors was lovely: landscaping, etc.
Disliked: The room was very small and the bathroom, the size of a closet. Decor was outdated needed an upgrade 10 years sho. The breakfast was expensive but everything was tough. The pastries small, stale and tasteless. The fresh pears were hard to the point ofInedible. Unpleasant

I was visiting friends nearby...

Liked: We had a warm welcome. It was off season so it was quiet. The room was large and comfortable. The pool and gym were great. The bar was excellent. we didn't try the food.
Disliked: It is definitely dated, but not shabby.

Beautiful hotel, loved it but...

Liked: It was a very nice property. Very pretty views, very comfy feeling hotel. Loved the homey look and feel of it.
Disliked: The hours for the pool and hot tub are listed as closing at 10 pm and we knew we had to work and then drive 2.5 hours and we were looking forward to getting in the hot tub when we got there but were told the hot tub was only open until 8 when we arrived. Very disappointed. Also, luckily there were 2 beds in the room because the bed near the window was broken or caved in in the middle. It was very uncomfy. We moved to the other bed and it was much better.
