Hotel Description
Originally built in 1850 Heath Cottage is a fine Victorian building located 3 miles of the M1 and M62 motorways networks. Leeds Bradford Airport can be reached in 40 minutes by car and Wakefield Inter City Train Station is just 10 minutes away from Heath Cottage Hotel & Restaurant. The Hotels Restaurant is temporarily closed we are hoping to reopen as soon as possible. We would like to apologize in advance for any disappointment this may lead too. We can recommend places to dine out locally if you should so wish. The rooms are individually decorated and have private bathrooms. Each includes a desk and tea/coffee making facilities. There is air-conditioning in public areas. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are available to all guests.

Our stay fulfilled a purpose...

Liked: I liked that we were given a family room which was a good size.I really liked how helpful and pleasant the receptionist was.
Disliked: I was very disappointed that we couldn’t purchase breakfast , there was an option to book one to go but not what we wanted as it was pastry etc and not what we can eat. The room was clean but for £80 the night it was a little tired and we found a chocolate on the floor near the bed and only one bedside lamp worked.

Brilliant staff, beautiful hotel

Liked: The staff were so amazing welcoming me with my bad anxiety, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms were so comfortable and warm, bed was amazing! Perfect bath too!
Disliked: Creaky floorboards - but I have hypervigilance so everything is louder than it should be for me, 3am the guests in the next room must have been getting their 10k steps in round their room lol but other than the noise everything was perfect
