What People Say

Guests love the welcoming atmosphere, beautiful historic architecture, and attentive service. Many highlight the B&B’s proximity to nightlife and venues, plus the comfort of a quiet, restful stay after an energetic evening downtown. The free parking is a major bonus in this area.

Areas for Improvement

Liked: Staff and staff were polite and friendly. Free parking on the back of home. Free WIFI, water and snacks. Loved the Blue Serenity, extremely clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing! Overall a quiet and peaceful stay. Loved the Victorian atmosphere!
Disliked: During warm days, the rooms are kept on the colder side, so plan accordingly and bring pants/sweater. Other than that, I would not change anything about my stay.

Liked: It's very lovely made, with all the Decorations. Hotel employee is amazing and very friendly.
Disliked: The Hotel itself is beautiful. The street next to it, was strange. We were there on a wednesday night and saw a lot of stoned people. On the street I didn't really felt save as we went out for dinner. But the House and hotel employee were wonderful!

Very Good - 4.0 out of 5

Verified Hotel Guest Mon, 20 March 2023

Liked: Centrally located, very charming decor, owner goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Appreciated snacks on the way in and breakfast. Check in process was simple and quick
Disliked: The location is a bit sketchy. Seems like a part of town that experiences a good deal of crime. I wish breakfast was a little later; we would have preferred to sleep in a bit longer. Under our bed had candy wrappers and our sink was very slow to drain.

Elizabeth Wed, 26 October 2022

Liked: The location and the ability to walk to grab a beer and food.
Disliked: Although I enjoyed the Victorian theme in each of the rooms; they were a bit cluttered difficult to walk around. Space was limited and we saw a large critter in the room.
