Pleasant

Liked: Comfortable bed.
Disliked: The lighting in the room was too dark and as a women difficult when trying to do your make up and hair.

Basically good would stay there...

Liked: Room was OK. Restaurant/bar was good. Parking good. Good area adjacent for exercising our dog ( who slept in our estate car)
Disliked: Problem with shower - could not use it. The reception staff did offer to move us to another room. Dim lighting

Great place to stay, highly...

Liked: Very clean, comfy and handy for Stansted. The accommodation was separate to the pub, so was quiet. The pub with it's garden were lovely. Will stay again.
Disliked: At all restaurant had pork belly, slightly over cooked and a little dry. Room was a little warm but it was an unusually hot day in early May. However there was a fan but didn't really help the heat

Liked: I liked most of all the staff. Extremely friendly and helpful people! They made every single moment of my stay perfect. Apart from this, my room was ideal in every way. Thank you ever so much!

Disliked: Restaurant service was very poor for our evening meal. Felt unwelcome and as if we were an inconvenience to the staff. We were greeted by the waitress saying "Allergies?" - no "good evening" or any words of welcome. Table service was poor. Menus, not to each person, water glasses/jug put on corner of table - not placed by each p person. I've no idea what the waitress looked like as she stood behind me all the time. Never looked at our smashed worth me. We were asked to leave the restaurant at 9 as the chef had gone. We went to the bar to order coffees but the coffee machine wasn't working.The breakfast waitress was much better. Very cheerful, welcoming and helpful.
