Disliked: Very slow staff, bad small in the room, the room is really very small.

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful and polite and the facility is renovated.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Hotel location is great but price seems very high for what you get.
Disliked: There were no basic items like complimentary water even though there were heat warnings. Would also be good to provide a small fridge or luggage rack. For the price you are paying would expect more. Asked for a quiet room but was noisy through the night.

Highly recommended

Liked: We were very happy with the room, it was perfect for 2 people. We were in room 209 and it was very quiet. Can not say how thrilled we were that there was AC because it was soooo HOT during our stay in London and coming back to our cool room was pure luxury. After all of the cuts in hotels in the US, this was a real treat to have daily housekeeping and personal-sized complimentary toiletries. It was clean, the bed sheets crisp. The staff upon check out was friendly. The location is perfect, there are 2 Tube stations within short walks…a number of coffee places and bakeries around the corner for a breakfast. Also some bars and pubs. It was a safe neighborhood. You can store your luggage at the hotel if you arrive early or have to check out but want to still enjoy the city. The wifi worked well. And in our room at least , there were numerous USB ports! So yes, they must have upgraded as I was looking for an answer to this subject as the only ones I could find were older and said there were none.
Disliked: I wish hotels did not have rainfall showers, women do not really like them. The do not have enough water pressure to wet hair quickly, but eventually it will get wet. Anyone who would try to get any product out of their long thick hair, would be impossible with these types of rainfall showers. They might look nice and the idea might sound nice, but they are total impractical. The hand-held shower head was nice but a wall holder to be able to stand under it would be great. There was only a holder that held it but you could not use it in that way I mentioned. Checking in, the staff member was not very friendly or unfriendly. We basically input our info (address, passport, etc) into the ipad. I guess the only thing missing to make it perfect, a mini fridge.

Comfy beds in good location

Liked: Spacious room, comfy bed, friendly staff
Disliked: Slightly outdated furniture but certainly not a deal breaker

Great location, tiny rooms

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, cold air conditioning in rooms
Disliked: Very small room for a double! Not sure two people with suitcases are really meant to fit in there

Great location, smart traditional decor...

Liked: Great location not far from all the sights in that area of the city but quiet for a good night's sleep. Felt very safe.
Disliked: Little bit of a squeeze in the room with 2 singles and a double sofa bed in use but was not a problem

Overall was ok for event...

Liked: Proximity to Tube and nearby amenities
Disliked: Bed was hard and uncomfortable, room (superior) was small and in what appeared to be the basement - could hear the tube line underneath throughout the night
