Ripped off
Liked: Maybe check your complaints from us. This hotel was not there on check in. Booking.com need to remove this immediately from there website.
Disliked: No such hotel there anymore apparently been closed since October even though we paid in February. Maybe check your complaint emails.

Bad
Liked: No front desk or management. Terrible Room. No breakfast and no reimbursement.Avoid absolutely this hotel.

Good location, very poor service
Liked: Location was great.
Disliked: No staff, so no change of linen during our 3 night stay. No tea, milk, sugar replaced. No breakfast and still waiting for a refund. Have staff available or close the facility.

Travellers BEWARE
Liked: NOTHING this hotel ghosted us.
Disliked: Warning this is more like a scam. We are a family of 5 and was supposed to stay in this hotel in July, they took my payment in October the year before. We we're planning to leave our luggage in the property when arrived in London around 12noon so we could bring our daughter to an urgent care, we called all the numbers that the hotel has online and on site with no answer , so we left voicemail messages and came back at 2pm the normal check in time but still no one at the hotel and no one answered our calls and so we left more voicemail messages, hoping they would contact us later. We ended up bring our daughter to a hospital which we stayed for 5 days and ended up booking an accomodation close to the hospital. We are just very frustrated and devastated with this, as there was no communication with Gower house and booking.com that time that there was an issue with Gower house that time, if so we could have booked a different hotel and had not gone through this difficult experience. As of the time of writing this review, I am still in the process of recovering my payment with Gower house hotel via booking.com.

I have no opinion because...
Liked: They deleted my reservation without giving a reason 4 days before my arrival from Poland to London, I had to look for a new hotel. The reservation was prepaid, I tried to contact the facility but no one answers. They don't care. I do not recommend! they do not reply and do not respond. I still do not have a refund for this reservation and I had to cover a new more expensive replacement so that I could sleep somewhere with my family. I do not even know if I will get this refund.

Very disappointing stay - won't...
Liked: Well I finally got into a room, which I thought was never going to happen. The shower worked and the bed was ok - at least this one was clean. I could actually access a toilet downstairs while I was trying to sort the mess of my stay out.
Disliked: I have had to wait this length of time before saying anything to calm down as this was the worst experience with a booking.com property. Things may have gone more smoothly if the property email had been sent a lot earlier; not 13.50 on the actual day I was travelling - when I didn't get wifi on my travel choice. When I got to the property there was no wifi available - despite there being a note in reception saying there was (both sets of details didn't work for me or a fellow French guest). There was a note on reception (and I took a photo) saying "Dear Guest. Please wait a bit receptionist is on prayer. Thank you". Well after a 45 minute wait still no-one turned up. I looked around; on the front door there were details of a phone number to contact in case of difficulties - this did not work. Looking around there did not seem to be any other information available; until I saw a phone number taped to a door around the corner to use to "phone in emergencies". I spoke to someone who told me the key-safe to my room was on the wall - this was located behind the propped open door to the property and so not very visible at all. The code number given to me worked but it was empty with no key inside and so I had to call the person back and so I was given another key-safe code. When I got to the room it appeared someone was already staying in it as the bedclothes were all disarrayed (photo taken) and there was rubbish in the room bin. So I had to be given another code and thankfully this room was available. Unfortunately it was extremely hot and I could not open the window to cool the room down. There was a fan as the air conditioning didn't work but this didn't help much - I had to sleep on top of the covers. Breakfast was identified as being continental - well, if you consider a cup of coffee and a warmed up brioche as being a full continental.

Liked: Location is good
Disliked: We've stayed before but this time was totally different. No breakfast promises refund that I did not get, bathroom dirty, no one in reception I had to call someone to check in. We checked out a day early and I would not go back.

Good location clean but very...
Liked: The location
Disliked: No staff. No breakfast (waiting for a refund). No clean towels each day. No tea sugar milk top up each day (3days) no hair dryer. Rubbish bin not emptied. Nice man that did give us some assistance
