Liked: The music theme, the unique room, the vibe, the bar.
Disliked: I had luggage and they only have stairs which is really not that big of a deal but i was in room 11 which has alot of stairs.

Unique and hidden.

Liked: The balcony. The cleanliness without sacrificing rawness. It's gritty but welcoming. Very cool bar next door.
Disliked: Oh I had luggage and no elevator so it was a tough haul to room 6

Liked: Fantastic little property in a great location with great service. The design was exceptionally beautiful and the small number of rooms made it feel intimate. It’s attached to both a bar and a recording studio. I personally loved the thrum of music in the background - it felt like going to sleep with a a very rowdy house party. Also the bed was EXTREMELY comfy. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
Disliked: I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you don’t like noise - like I said, I loved it but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Liked: Such a funky and cool space. Staff were lovely! It was great being able to head straight downstairs to such an awesome bar at night. Could hear the sound from above but it didn’t bother us at all and definitely didn’t interrupt sleep. My favourite place to stay after a long journey through California

Liked: The room was mostly clean, and the bed was comfortable. Interesting
Disliked: The location isn't good; a very run-down section of Santa Monica Blvd. The shower had a terrible smell coming from the drain, had to keep the exhaust fan running. Read the fine print, no front desk, parking is on another block, checking in can be confusing/difficult depending on time and luggage (staff was helpful though). There's a club downstairs, so expect noise until 2 AM on weekends.
