Lovely hotel, brilliant location; shame...

Liked: lovely rooms. Good staff. excellent location.
Disliked: main issue is that the pool is swamped by "external members" on weekends, which is a bit much given the cost and amenity fee.

Great stay disappointing after care.

Liked: It is in a wonderful location and the facilities are excellent.
Disliked: We paid a $1000 security deposit for each room. We did not charge anything to the rooms. One month after check out this has still not been returned to our bank account. They say it could be up to 30 working days which is 6 weeks holding our money. This was not explained to us at check in- they just said it will be returned to you on check out. Very misleading and unnecessary.

Disliked: Rented a daybed by the pool for 2 days, on day one I showed up at 4 :00 p.m. as my reservation stated that I had the daybed from 2:15 PM – 4:15 PM & 4:20 pm-6:20 PM. My daybed wasn't ready when I arrived on day 1. I had to show the pool attendants my confirmation email twice to prove that I did in fact rented a daybed. The following day, I'm in the elevator on my way to the pool, I assume this person was a manager, asked my name after I mentioned I had an incident at the pool yesterday with my daybed not being ready. Instead of apologizing, she blamed me for not showing up at 2:00 p.m.! Blame the patron, classy, professional, great customer service

Liked: Location is great, in the meat packing district so great for restaurants and bars and shopping.
Disliked: Staff were not attentive at the door. It was mostly closed and door was heavy and never openedFor us. The rooftop pool was awful. Crowded, felt dirty and very basic. I felt like I’d arrived on a jet 2 holiday. The photo gives the impression of a soho house style. The rooms were very basic and not that comfortable. Towels not great either.
