Overall this wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed at, but it was a LONG way from the best place ever. I don't have any major complaints, but I'd definitely find somewhere else to stay next time I'm in New York. There was a "continental breakfast", which was basically some cereal, toast/bagels, bananas, sausage and some kind of dumpling. Certainly not fine dining, but everything was edible. The towels were pretty tiny too. I'm not a huge guy (36" waist), but I wasn't able to wrap the towels around me completely. They were enough to dry me off, but were pretty soaked by the time I was done my shower. My only real complaint was that the WiFi was awful. You could basically access a page or two after connecting, but after that it would just stop working until you turned your connection off then on again. Since I was in from out of town, I was counting on the "free Wifi" to keep me connected to the outside world. It did, but just barely. I guess you get what you pay for. Oh, and there were fruit flies on the 4th floor. Not sure why, as nothing in particular seemed unclean, but obviously there was something somewhere attracting them. As a side note, as a web developer I found it hilarious that there's no room 404.

Liked: Pleasant staff; relatively quiet; fairly close to the subway; breakfast.
Disliked: Awful WiFi; ceiling had all sorts of weird dust ball things; fruit flies on the 4th floor.

Liked: From the time you walk in the door, it smells pleasant, is a clean attractive lobby, very professional pleasant staff at the desk - like Ms. Jazmine. The rooms are a type of cozy small, good air conditioning and heat. Hot water in a clean bathroom. Clean change of towels daily, soaps and shampoos, hair dryers and iron with board supplied, and room tidying staff were on point. Nice quality flat screen television that works. Not a noisy place at all, day or night. Ice and coffee in the lobby for you. 👍😊
Disliked: No microwave or small refrigerator in the room,😐 though the staff will gladly warm something up for you in their microwave next to the front desk.
