A great classic

Liked: The hotel is beautiful, great room service, very elegant, good quality food
Disliked: Some things are a little bit old, not very modern facilities

Decent

Liked: The breakfast was a set menu . A small buffet breaks fast would have been better
Disliked: Mentioned above. Coffee was terrible. Cafe latter / cappuccino is expected

Liked: All ok
Disliked: There was some small cockroach that we didn’t make attention abt it only morning

Liked: Good service, nice hotel, room service was excellent
Disliked: A little bit expensive for what they offer, needs renovation.

The hotel had good things...

Liked: The property was conveniently located for the downtown activities we wanted to do.
Disliked: There wasn’t a microwave or refrigerator in the room. But, there was a set of scales in the bathroom as well as a crocheted toilet paper “hat” (a cover for the back up roll of toilet paper. Also, and this is my fault, not the hotel’s or staff’s, we stayed in a King Deluxe which I thought would have a pull out couch or at least a couch that could be slept on. Again, my fault, I should have verified that. I’m not sure who was in the meeting(s) where those decisions were made but it’s possible their input may be valued too much.

Exceptional

It was ok but only...

Liked: It central. The room was ok but kinda run down. Some of the staff were excellent (helpful and pleasant) but some were very poor (at check in receptionist was arguing/fighting with porter).
Disliked: There was water leaking onto the floor. The bathroom had stains all over the wallpaper and the paint on the ceiling was coming off. The room was $2700+ for four nights so I had hoped for more.
