We booked a room at the Knights Inn about a month prior. We were going to attend a show at the House of Blues and booked the Knights Inn because of it's proximity. When we arrived in Myrtle Beach, we discovered that the Knights Inn was not only under construction, but, CLOSED. We had to spend about an hour on the phone with ConcertHotels; however, when it was all said and done, they found us a room at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott at no charge. In addition, they are refunding the money we spent for the Knights Inn. I could not have been more livid to find out that I had booked a room at a closed hotel; however, I could not be happier with the way it was handled. We attended the show and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn - thanks to a good deal of hustle and diligence from ConcertHotels.com. THANK YOU!

Very disappointed in the way...

Liked: I have stayed in Marriott establishments before this is the worst one I’ve ever stayed in because the hotel needs and complete upgrade. It does not meet Marriott expectations or mine. I’m a loyal customer to Marriott and Fairfield Inn franchise, but this place really needs an upgrade. I feel like I should be credited by Marriott for staying there but I had business in the area in the location was great. The staff was wonderful the hotel needs to be done over. Thank you.
Disliked: The hotel needs a complete remodel. The staff is great and doing the best they can with what they have but that Marriott Fairfield Inn needs to be completely remodeled. Is it disappointment to the Marriott corporation and I’ve stayed in Marriott and I’ll continue to stay in Marriott, but that one I won’t stay in that one again. As I said the staff is excellent and they doing the best they can, but what they have to work with which is not a lot because it needs to be upgraded.

Liked: Breakfast was ok, standard food out of the bags!
Disliked: I slept on the pull-out sofa. It was so old that you can feel the coils in the mattress just by lightly touching it. Frustrating.

Liked: The initial greeting was nice until the manager stepped in to assist the new clerk. She was rude. The location was close by for my companies holiday party so that’s convenient.
Disliked: The fact that online says pet friendly and no mention of pet fees when booking. Get there and it’s no “hello” it’s “are you aware you’ll be charged an extra $75 for your animal?” I have no issue paying but then you guys call me and text me saying my dog barks. Yeah he’s a 100lb dog. He’s going to be loud in a new spot. Won’t be coming here again considering you threatened me to leave if he doesn’t stop. I guarantee the staff was knocking on the door and getting him anxious, so next time you guys charge someone $200 for one night maybe don’t put them right at the elevator and ice machine.

I was alone so for...

Liked: Breakfast was average with plenty of choice.
Disliked: The bathroom was tiny and the rooms were dirty. There were trails of mud and dirty all throughout the sign in desk area.
