Was only ok.
Liked: The staff was kind and efficient. We appreciated that they would hold our luggage. They also answered all of our questions and helped when we couldn't get the air conditioner to turn off.
Disliked: I am worried about fire safety. The windows were sealed shut. It was very stuffy in the room, even with the air conditioning and we did not feel safe. It also seemed a little worn. I know London hotels are expensive, but this seemed very expensive for what you get.

Great location, room comfortable but...
Liked: Fantastic location, very comfy bed, nice bathroom despite flaws, great links to the city, helpful staff, pretty well priced for the location
Disliked: Staff came across as standoff-ish/like they didn’t want to be there, although were helpful when I asked Got a call an hour after I checked out by a member of staff who said I hadn’t checked out, which isn’t a major issue and easily missed given the nature of the checkout (member of staff was helping another couple with baggage storage and offered to take my key to avoid me waiting), however the call came across as if it was my intention to not check out. Makes me feel they’re overworked and it’s leaving them miserable, which is a shame. The room was nice on first inspection, but there were a few issues. Standard tea tray but the kettle was disgusting - coated in thick limescale. There were cracks in the Lino by the bed, which didn’t cause much issue, but worth a note. There were marks on the wall in the bathroom near the toilet and the shower made a horribly loud sound. The bathroom had poor ventilation, so was still wet from my evening shower the morning after. The room was also next to the road and the walls were thin, so you could hear a lot of road noise. Almost to be expected in such a busy area however the tube was louder than expected. Not massive, again given the area, but worth stating. The room appeared to be above some sort of unit or adjacent that caused the floor on the left hand side of the bed to vibrate, not enough to shake the bed but enough to translate a weird sound into the bed and pillows. Very weird. The biggest thing for me was the hallway noise and the door rattling due to pressure changes. My room was near the door to the lobby, so whenever that opened, my door moved or made a sound. Not enough to swing it open, but enough to feel like someone was trying to fiddle with the lock and try their luck. Took a bit to realise it was just the door pressure, rather than an actual burglar, which was terrifying at first.
