outstanding staff

Liked: quiet and isolated - but that is what I wanted. breakfast was excellent each morning. and the staff was outstanding - extremely helpful and well-trained. the furnishings were a little dated but not a big deal. also is very close to the Metra station if you want to take a trip downtown.
Disliked: could update the bathroom and put a shower wand in the shower.

Liked: Loved the hotel and what they had to offer. The layout is beautiful. Love that there was a pool and a restaurant on premise. The room was great. Very comfortable!
Disliked: There was a happy hour but the snacks were out quick. It looked like there were a couple parties there for the weekend and they ate and drank everything out there. The pool was constantly swamped with those parties and the kids. Very chaotic and we stayed in the room for the night and weren't able to enjoy the amenities of the hotel. We tried several times to enjoy the happy hour, the pool and hot tub. I may have to try and stay again. This was a relaxation gear we trip. We have have chosen the wrong weekend.
