Liked: It was pretty close to the venue; bar/breakfast/standard amenities were all pretty good.
Disliked: The room.

Liked: The location was convenient
Disliked: The breakfast needs improvement. Variety is poor compared to other Embassy Suites in Michigan. Food at night was ok. They ran out of carry out boxes and just threw everything into a pizza box. Missing some items. Came that was ordered was smashed and mixed in with the hot food instead of being put in a separate box. Room was not the cleanest.

Not Worth the Stay Anymore

Liked: Location and the rooms having a separate living area from bedroom
Disliked: Housekeeping is a joke - the room we were checked into hadn’t been cleaned in over a week…the last person to clean it quit that day and didn’t finish the job. There were no garbage cans in the room, the comforter was torn up, the couch and floors had stains and the mattress for the sleeper sofa was stained and caved in when slept on. The replacement blanket for the bed had pee stains on it. Every person we talked to until check out put the blame game on someone else instead of resolving the issues. The breakfast ran out of food on the first morning and the next one had almost nothing out for breakfast. We always loved coming here but this was the last straw that broke camel’s back on this one.

Decent hotel in business park

Liked: Spacious atrium for groups
Disliked: Restaurant service within the hotel was very delayed-for the price

Terrible.

Liked: Not a single thing.
Disliked: Insane amount of bugs crawling all over the chair in the room. Very certain curly little hairs allllll over the bed. Room did not look like it was cleaned whatsoever.

Liked: The breakfast was awesome! Beds were comfortable. Water pressure is amazing!
Disliked: Stains and tears on the mattress of the sofa bed, the couch itself was so stiff and in need of a cleaning, stains on the floors and curtains. No coffee cups in our room. Two towels for four guests. Toilet paper rolls looked 2/3 gone. Carpets need a deep clean. On the floor in the corners look like they need some serious attention as well. Pool was so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. And as soon as you opened the door to the pool area, you were smacked in the face by the smell of chlorine.

Hilton should be ashamed

Liked: The hotel has the layout of a typical older Embassy Suites with a center atrium
Disliked: The whole stay was a disaster. The toilet in our room was clogged when we arrived. The hide a bed, which I asked about when I checked in, did not work. I specifically booked this hotel because of the hide a bed. The staff told me there were no clean rooms to move to and no rollaways available. The staff closes the breakfast area 5 minutes before breakfast is supposed to end so the staff can eat and they make the paying guests feel unwelcome. The bathtub would not fill because it was stuck on shower and couldn't be changed. It took maintenance an hour to fix this at 9 at night. The hotel is tired and worn out. I do not recommend staying here.
