Lovely hosts and breakfast, close...

Liked: Although the room was rather small it was very clean and quiet and had all the needed facilities. Anne and John were great hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and offered their experiences about trips and places of interest. The breakfast was really good. Good quality products (including home made jam). Car parking was located across the road and was safe. Location of the B&B was only a 2 min walk to the center of Matlock (shops, park and restaurants).

A great location to explore...

Liked: Excellent location very close to everything in the lovely town. Very friendly and helpful host excellent Breakfast I highly recommend this B&B.Should we return we would stay here again.
Disliked: We had no problems

Relaxing and a tasty breakfast

Liked: The breakfast was lovely, and the homemade jam and marmalade was a nice touch. It was nice to walk into the garden and sit and watch the birds and a squirrel eating the nuts ! Just a short walk into town too.
Disliked: The big pillow was a little uncomfortable, did realise there was a flatter one in the cupboard, in the morning !!

Perfect location. Very Comfortable. Welcoming...

Liked: Ideally located for the centre of Matlock. Car parking available opposite the property. Comfortable room and bed. Accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable hosts. Anne's homemade biscuits are a bonus. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Would stay here again if holidaying in the area. And the train station is less than 5 minutes away. The King room has the added attraction of on outside patio/garden area.

Liked: Absolutely everything. Brilliant Location.Lovely hosts and very informative. Lovely rooms,we had the king size room,you have your own little seating area outside in the beautiful garden and the breakfast was amazing would recommend to anybody.

Lovely host, location was very...

Liked: Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, cereals and hot breakfast cooked to order, freshly brewed tea and coffee and host enquired if we needed any extras.Location was perfect, quite location but only a short stroll to restaurant and shops.Lovely garden to relax in.Lots of literature available on local attractions and walks in the area.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like.
