Lovely hotel; great value; pleasant staff and very helpful; close to all areas of interest.

Liked: Great service from staff - quick check in.
Disliked: Very thin walls in rooms - can hear everything next door.

Can't praise the staff enough. We arrived and were running late to get to an appointment and they couldn't have been more helpful. The staff at breakfast were also very pleasant and helpful.

Liked: Fantastic staff!
Disliked: Decor a little bit tired but in the process of upgrading.

Liked: great location, room was very nice, good value.
Disliked: Was at front of building. Busy day so went to sleep around 11, woken up with loud chat on outdoor smoking terrace that went all the way til 1am. Perhaps if windows were better soundproofed it would help.

Good value but odd to...

Liked: Comfy bed, decent shower. Good sized room.
Disliked: I just don't like the fact they take a £100 deposit and check id. It's a large chain and no other hotels do this. Even Travelodge etc dontGround floor room out back had noise from car park etc.Window would not stay openSink would not stay full.
