Disliked: Not enough staff. Staff that were available were very helpful, but there just weren’t enough of them Room had obviously been flooded from above, but had not been redecorated. Room was not clean, and mattress was very uncomfortable Very, very Spartan

Liked: The studio was quite spacious (plenty of amenities), good shower and bed, not bad location walkable to some areas and not far from bus stops.The staff was helpful.
Disliked: We went in August, and the room (the whole building) was so hot, unbearable, so uncomfortable...absolutely terrible.That really let the place down - had to pay for it and we already had to pay for towels.We understand that the room prices are quite okay for Edinburgh but still they need air-conditioning in the Summer. Travelled all around the world and never stayed anywhere in these conditions.

Great alternative during Fringe

Liked: It was a fab ensuite room with everything I needed. Basic but clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The location was a little further out of the city than I would have liked, but could be walked in half an hour. Nearest shop was about a 10 minute walk. Other than that, it was great for what we needed during the Fringe Festival.

Liked: Private rooms and bathrooms.
Disliked: Kitchen had build up of recycling and was a bit messy where people didn't clean up after themselves well - pre cleaning team.

Liked: Handy location, not bad for the price. Fringe is a tough time to get value for sure.
Disliked: Room was very warm, no fans available.
