The dishes at the Forest...

Liked: Location, food at the Forest.
Disliked: The bathroom floor was not clean.The sliding door to the bathroom was extremely stiff.There were nobody at the reception at around 1pm-ish as we arrived. Needed looking for the staff. It was pouring rain as we checked in.The receptionist didn’t mention about an umbrella to walk to the rooms, which was not close to the main building at all.Finally, I asked about umbrella to receive two for four adults. It was unfortunate since the nice property of the hotel. Need improvement of the maintenance of the room and staffs’ quality services .

Tranquil and peaceful.

Liked: Amazing location. Truly feel like you are out of the main town grind, it's quiet and peaceful, super relaxing. The rainforest feel and track to the beach was amazing. Pool facility was beautiful. Room was comfortable, spacious and very peaceful.
Disliked: We had an issue with the charges initially. Booking.com was more expensive compared to their accomodation's website. I managed to get a refund from booking.com to match the price, however I contacted the property directly earlier about it. The lady on the phone was a little abrupt and made me feel like I was being a pain. She wanted me to cancel my accomodation with refund back to my account to take up to 5 days and then pay again on the spot for my new accomodation, but the room I originally booked wasn't available (even though I was cancelling and rebooking) and wanted me to book a different room. I just said please leave as is as it was close to the travel and I wasn't comfortable with cancelling and rebooking and the process seemed like it didn't make sense, and her comment back to me in quite a rude tone was "I'm just trying to help you get a cheaper price". It was a little disappointing. We found the service around the bar and pool a little slow, we were ignored a few times, staff asked us to sit and waiting for someone to take our order, but twice out of the three times during our stay we ended up going up and ordering ourselves. Once my partner asked the bar tender for service, he also in a pretty abrupt tone told him to go to one of the girls on the floor to be served. Disappointing across as it taints the beautiful experience of the stay.

Liked: Beautiful setting. The rainforest surrounds and bird sounds was so peaceful and I great place to really unwind.

Liked: Location was amazing. Accessibility for my elderly father was a bit difficult. Staff, especially Max went out of his way to be very helpful.
Disliked: Disabled parking bays more obvious or at least signposted.
