Liked: We enjoyed being on the ocean and watching the dolphins out front every day. The sunrise on the balcony was beautiful. The hotel was prompt with some requests. The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: I did not like that the beach was closed right in front of the hotel. There was no mention of this on the Courtyard website or on Booking.com where I booked the hotel. Originally I had booked a different hotel further up the beach, however the website indicated that the beach in front of the hotel was closed as there was a lot of heavy equipment on the beach moving sand due to erosion. Had I known, I would have rented elsewhere. The outdoor pool wasn’t open yet as we were there a week before it opened. The hotel is definitely seeing signs of wear and tear, needs upgrades. The kids found pieces of concrete on the bottom of the pool, not entirely sure where that came from. The sliding glass doors are very hard to open. The couch needed replacing as it had stains and was not comfortable. The living room remote was missing the “off” button. The majority of the buttons on the microwave did not work.The refrigerator needed defrosting.We discovered that the light above our bathroom mirror was not working the 2nd night we were there. We informed the front desk and someone came right up to take a look. They replaced the bulbs and it was something else that was broken. The light was fixed the next morning when we returned from breakfast as it was close to 10pm and we were tired. Anytime we called the front desk, no one ever answered the phone. My daughter and her friend would end up going down for what we needed as housekeeping did not come in enough. I think that was misunderstood when we checked in and I said every other, the person working thought that it was every couple.

Liked: I felt like I was staying at a motel six breakfast cold everyday . Dirty never was told there working on beach right in front of hotel heard jackhammers all day
