Courtyard by Marriott Columbus Airport

Very clean room.

Liked: Nice room.

Disliked: On the website it said you had a hot tub. That is the only reason we picked your hotel - but there was no hot tub. Also, sofa bed had no sheets on it and none in closet to put on it. Nasty. $150 a night for that!

Superb

Liked: Convenient to airport, free airport transportation , reasonable price.
Disliked: Lack of nearby restaurant ti get a good meal.

We enjoyed staying in Columbus...

Liked: This is the nicest Courtyard we have ever stayed at. Hope we can stay here again.
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t like was the location of the sofa bed. It’s too close to the bed and the wooden edge is worn off where people have hit their leg.

Poor Housekeeping Services

Liked: The room was clean and the staff was nice.
Disliked: We stayed for two nights. During our stay, no one made the bed, emptied the garbage cans, or removed the used towels from our room. We were informed that we needed to specifically request housekeeping services, which was not communicated clearly at the time of check-in. While I understand that hotels may not change sheets daily, I did expect basic services like trash removal, fresh towels, and bed-making to be standard each day.Additionally, we had an issue with the toilet in our room. When we reported it, we were told to come down to the front desk to get a plumber an address the issue ourselves, which was both surprising and inconvenient.

Liked: General manager is a liar. She told booking.com I canceled my reservation at 9:32a yet I showed up to an alleged canceled booking at 630p. The hotel staff are incompetent. As well as booking.com is a fault as well for allowing her to tell that lie when the cancellation has to go through them first. DISGUSTING!

Wonderful stay, good value per...

Liked: The staff were all very friendly and the property was located in a safe, nice area. Our room was very nice and clean! I only stayed for one night at this property, so I didn’t get the opportunity to explore the amenities, but it seemed there were lots offered and available! Checkout time is 12:00, which is always a plus for late sleepers like myself!
Disliked: I found nothing to dislike at Courtyard Columbus! I was very pleased with my stay! :)

Disappointing

Liked: The breakfast was very good. Everything we received was cook perfectly. Only complaint was that the lady working could have used some help. She was taking orders and cooking all the food, you could tell she was feeling a flustered when the line got longer. But despite the line she kept calm and everything was perfect.
Disliked: Overall the breakfast was fantastic but the room was not. We got there at check in time 3pm and were told we had to wait for a room. Then we finally got a room and went to it and the door wouldn't open. The master key couldn't even open it. So we had to go and get another room. Went to the second room and it was hot. Didn't pay much attention to it just thought it needed time to cool. we had to leave since we were already late for our event so we didn't worry much that. Got back from the event around 11 and room was still hot and when we went to lock the door the dead bolt stayed out and we couldn't lock the door. We called the front desk and they sent someone up. The lady was very nice and was the driver not the maintenance person. She got the dead bolt in with a screw driver and told us to keep the screwdriver cause that is the only way we could get the door to shut. We couldn't lock our door either or it would get stuck so we were only able to use the latch. Despite all this every worker was excellent and the only complaint was that the rooms were horrible that we had.
