Disliked: Bathroom was tiny. Toilet was wedged between a wall and the bath.

Very happy with our stay...

Liked: Excellent location within walking distance of front, pier, and shopping centre. Easy access by car and plenty of parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel, lodge, and rooms very clean. Very good choice of foods for breakfast. Meal in the brasserie was an unexpected highlight.
Disliked: Lift in the lodge was a bit small but very clean so not a great problem. My mother stayed in room 235 and only criticism was thst there was no towel rail or hook for a towel in the shower room/toilet. Otherwise very good standard room.

Very good

Liked: The room was comfortable and the breakfast was everything one could wish for. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The extractor fan in the en-suite bathroom was noisy and resonated in the room. The safe needed its battery replaced before it could be used but then it was okay. Sometimes the sachets of coffee/milk for morning drinks were not replenished when the room was serviced each morning. Access to general information seemed to be designed exclusively for smartphone users which is not inclusive enough (not everybody uses them).

Disappointing

Liked: Basic amenities provided. Swimming pool and gym provision was nice. Very good location - <5 mins walk to the beach.
Disliked: The room doesn't really match the fancy aesthetic of the rest of the hotel. It was very dated which is fine but the bathroom slide door kept getting stuck and the shower head wouldn't work properly if held in any angle that wasn't straight up. When I first checked in, the carpet near the bathroom was very wet. The swimming pool and sauna room weren't the cleanest either. Lots of grime was built up on the walls. Hence, it felt very expensive for the experience (to be frank, i did book a little late so that also contributed to the price).

Disliked: We were in room 224 and were briefly disturbed by noise coming from above.The toilet didn't flush properly.

Liked: Great location and clean. The young lady at reception was brilliant. Was very helpful
Disliked: Needs a littlw updating but overall a decent stay. Could be access to more facilities after hours but good.
