Comfort Suites Alamo Riverwalk

The hotel could use a few upgrades but must say the breakfast was awesome. Treat your staff well, they work hard. Pretty close to the Riverwalk.

Liked: Loved the breakfast and the staff. I would like to mention an employee Georgia Rios who met me every morning with such a friendly and warm disposition. This employee should be recognized and given a huge pat on the back. She had a huge breakfast, ready to be eaten by 6:30 and kept the food stocked and also the area spotless. Thank you!
Disliked: Did not complain but my bedding was not clean. It must not have been changed as there was a yellow stain at the bottom of the white top comforter which I promptly folded off the bed. Bathroom tub wasn't very clean either. Had to call for toilet paper and also had to call for clean towels.

Disliked: The hot tub did not work , one of the elevators did not work ,then the other elevator broke down and we had to stay in the room . Because my wife could not do the stairs . Not enough parking that is safe .

Disliked: Management is non existent. Homeless in the lobby. Breakfast staff overwhelmed pushing recycled boxes and huge bags of trash during breakfast. Chairs are warn out. No yogurts or asst. Fruits. Food not replenished, empty server dishes. Comfort and American flags outside in tatters. Air conditioner in the room was dislodged and could see out the opening. USB/charger in room did not work. One of the two laundry washers was out of service. Same with the ice machine. I had to walk downstairs to get ice. Backyard for sitting has not been cleaned in months. I took photos of my grievances. Please credit the night stay please

Disliked: Stayed for 1 night room was clean and decent til it was bed time slept close to the window and by the ac unit carpet was really wet ac unit was leaking for quite a while im guessing

Disliked: Anything that you wanted to buy from vending machines such as snacks and detergent had to be charged to your room or a separate credit card, I didn't like that. I don't feel that I should have to pay to park at the hotel that I stayed in. Parking should be free to customers
