The hotel could use a few upgrades but must say the breakfast was awesome. Treat your staff well, they work hard. Pretty close to the Riverwalk.

Liked: Loved the breakfast and the staff. I would like to mention an employee Georgia Rios who met me every morning with such a friendly and warm disposition. This employee should be recognized and given a huge pat on the back. She had a huge breakfast, ready to be eaten by 6:30 and kept the food stocked and also the area spotless. Thank you!
Disliked: Did not complain but my bedding was not clean. It must not have been changed as there was a yellow stain at the bottom of the white top comforter which I promptly folded off the bed. Bathroom tub wasn't very clean either. Had to call for toilet paper and also had to call for clean towels.

Disliked: The name Alamo Riverwalk is deceiving since it is not on the river walk and location was on the other side of the overpass ,but walking distance . Lots of homeless stay around and under the bridge so walking down town was not an option for us and had to pay another $25 for parking on top of the $15 parking that the hotel charges. The room was old & dark ,wallpaper was peeling,sofa sleeper was filthy and stained (we had to purchase an air mattress). The carpet and the furniture are old and outdated. We were offered another room, it was same in appearance but also had exposed wires coming out from underneath the air conditioning unit by the window. The carpet was stained and the sofa bed was worse than the first one. We were told that the sofa sleeper was new. We opted to stay with the first room since it had a better view and I wasn’t about to lose over $400 for two nights stay. Would never stay in the hotel again!

Disliked: Room decor old and worn. Wallpaper pealing at ceiling level, wall patch done with staples, headboard chewed by animal. Sofa was extremely used.
