Glad I didn't see Google (map) ratings for this or I would have been second guessing. Honestly, best place I have ever stayed at, the part of town is not in the slums. Orange taxis are always available despite it being Rock on the Range weekend. They were friendly - cheaper then a DUI/OVI I guess. Will make this my choice to stay any time we go to Columbus and have a good time. A McDonald's, Wendy's & Donatos Pizza in walking range. Ice is widely available to keep whatever is in the cooler, cold. If you have movie's on your phone don't forget the cable - they make it easy to connect it to the TV. They might have had one (mini HDMI) in the bag. I use a mini HDMI with USB to reg size. They did have pool and pretty sure a hot tub - didn't use but walked past a few time. You don't have to walk real far if you park anyway - just use your key card to get in from the back. The reason I'm going into detail is I spent a lot of time going over reviews when I wanted to choose a place to stay. I don't want to stay in another bad place ever. Not worth going cheap on.

Liked: Clean; friendly; loved the stay - would recommend!
Disliked: Can not think of anything (nit-pick: coffee maker in bathroom sealed up, and no fridge).

Liked: No breakfast was included There is a bar and restaurant but you have to pay for it
Disliked: Cleanliness,building is dated , furniture too old , very cheap soap and shampoo

Disliked: Furniture was ahabby, outdated, bed was ok comfort-wise

Liked: The beds were comfortable.
Disliked: The Bartender/ Waitress was rude and inconsiderate. If some of the people sitting at the bar placed an empty glass at the edge of the bar and she would automatically fill it. Others were totally ignored as we were. She gave us dirty looks and was very inconsiderate even though we tipped. Staying at the hotel was nice and the beds were comfortable. We were picked up at the airport in a shuttle but charged for parking 10.00 even though we didn't have a car. We advised the check-in person when she asked and the check-out person when we left. Just a shame that a Marriott would rip customers off like this and give such poor service.

Great stay, just a little...

Liked: Everything seemed very clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable. The heat and A/C worked well.
Disliked: There were 6 trucks all around my car that had their windows broken out in the morning. Thankfully mine didn't get hit. Somehow this happened with full time parking lot security...

The property is run down...

Liked: Professional staff. Clean.
Disliked: The bathtub was clogged. They charged me for parking even though I told them I did not have a car at the time of check in. I got it corrected at the check out.

Liked: friendly staff, airport shuttle
Disliked: the hotel is fairly run down and old. the breakfast is minimal, no cheese. Not explained what can be requested to order like omelette etc. value for money is not balanced, felt like I overpaid by 50%.
