Exceptional

Liked: I like everything of my stay. It's a hidden-gem in Erie Bay Front Area, PA. The hotel staff are excellent. They allow me to late check out at noon. The free breakfast was nice. The location just across from the Erie Lake Bay. You can see the lake from some of your hotel room. The parking is free.
Disliked: I like everything!

Liked: The location was perfect. Breakfast was nicer than at most 'grab and go' hotels.
Disliked: I stayed here once before a few years ago and really liked this hotel because it was cozy and welcoming. This time around it fell a little short of those expectations. The hotel was clean which is always a plus, but it could definitely use some updating. Hot tub was lukewarm, coffee in front lobby was empty both times we tried it, garbage was overflowing, pool never had any clean towels available, and you had to stand at the front desk until someone noticed you (once it was because there was only one person working but another time there were several chatting in the back room while people were waiting). As far as value, I was able to rebook my stay for a reasonable rate, but if I had paid what I originally booked at I would have been very disappointed based on the things I just mentioned.

Liked: Location and staff are wonderful
Disliked: I didn’t care for the loudness of the doors of others next to me opening and closing around 4:30am when your trying to sleep. They are pretty loud doors. Also no return message from facility when a message was sent a couple days before stay asking about a possible early check in.
