Wyndham Sea Gardens

Very pleasant. The activities are...

Liked: Every one on staff is warm and welcoming and helpful. Every time we walked by a staff member on the property they greeted us. We had a very pleasant experience staying here.

Disappointing!!

Liked: The pool and outdoor bar area was nice. Rooms were clean.
Disliked: Problems have not been compensated. The Wyndham manager says he cannot compensate since booked through booking.com. We did not want a future upgrade good only at this same site as we will not be back in that area. One toilet did not work. A repairman looked at it but was not fixed.Key cards were wrong initially and had to fix. Remote control for TV had to be replaced. Garbage disposer would not work.Shower knobs base it hard to get hot water.

Started out horribly and got...

Liked: The amenities, the location, the beach.
Disliked: They didn’t have a room for us when we checked in. We were a party of 2 couple and they stuck us in a 1 bedroom that was marginal at best. One of the mini splits didn’t work and it was outdated. I think the room was out of service but they didn’t have anywhere else to put us. They did move us the next day but it was a paint to pack everything back up after one night to move. I’ve been going to this resort since 2006, first time I’ve had an issue. We really miss the shuffle board court that they removed in the remodel too

Lost Luster.

Liked: The facilities and location.
Disliked: Cleanliness. Killed a cockroach in our unit. Facilities are aging and corners are not clean.Despite informing the office that our luggage was delayed and expected to be delivered we were misinformed that the luggage had not arrived when it had in fact been delivered. This resulted in an unnecessary and unfruitful trip to the airport. Only to return and find luggage was there all the time.

Liked: Did not have breakfast at that location.
Disliked: Very disappointed in the location. The view was of the parking lot.

The stay was fair overall....

Liked: The location is nice. The main pool is heated which was great in January. Parking garage was convenient.
Disliked: The overall facilities were fair. The entire property looks old and run down. The secondary pools look like they haven't been cleaned for a little while. The rooms were nice but the sliders were rotted and falling off the tracks. You couldn't open the window all the way so had to fight the slider to get fresh air into the room. This is a vacation club and they make it very difficult to not do their presentation. They 90 minutes and it is a minimum of 2-2 1/2 hours. The time share sales staff and the hotel staff have little to no communication between them. The sales guys will promise the world but the message never gets to the hotel.
