Disappointing

Liked: I would love to tell you about this property HOWEVER you CANCELED our reservation 4 hours before checkin!!! I was notified of the cancellation while driving to Newport but couldn’t check the notification while driving. I learned of the cancellation at the front desk! I was told you were fully booked yet I was confirmed just hours before?! We were sent to Wyndham Long Wharf. We are owners of a week in July at Onshore and love Onshore. It is always our favorite because of the location, the views and the availability of the 2 decks. We are very disappointed.

Disliked: Suites are showing their age. Need to slowly upgrade each.

Liked: The layout and space was absolutely perfect
Disliked: The indoor pool was a bit of a letdown. 1 table and a family had "reserved" it while swimming. 3 other chairs that were taken up by 1 person. She sat on 2 chairs that were stacked together and used 1 for her feet. Would have liked to sit somewhere and watch my kids swim but I couldn't so they didn't get to use the pool. More chairs would make sense.
