Liked: I spent a week at Church Villa and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was greeted by exceptionally kind hosts who made me feel right at home. The room was incredibly cozy, featuring a comfortable bed perfect for a good night’s sleep, and there was ample space to relax and take a leisurely walk.One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was simply outstanding—delicious, abundant, and served in a bright, sunny, and very inviting dining area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant stay.

Liked: We had a lovely stay at Church Villa B&B with Hilary and Graham, who were very warm and welcoming, made delicious breakfasts in the morning and lovely fires and tea in the evening, and gave us lots of helpful tips for eating out and travel. We especially enjoyed the breakfast room where you can see the birds coming for their breakfast in the beautiful garden outside. We had a really excellent experience and will definitely try and come back!

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and the choices offered on a slip of paper allowed me to choose what I wanted and quantity. I found the offer of my own lounge and log fire charming. Graham and Hilary helped with local places to eat, fuel and directions.

Liked: Friendly welcome with cup of tea and a nice log fire in shared sitting room. Cosy bedroom, quiet location (good for Hardwick Hall) and excellent full English breakfast.

A real English cottage experience

Liked: We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and promptly offered a cuppa. The beds were comfortable and the best bathrobe ever! Cuddly and warm. When we came back from supper there was a lovely fire going in the fireplace. Very considerate.
Disliked: Nothing, all was just right.
