Liked: The Inn's location is ideal for anyone wanting to visit Bar Harbour and Arcadia national park without being 'in town', it took us 10 minutes to walk into town each evening. There is private off road parking available. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean and fresh, plenty of hot water in the shower as well as bathrobes, hairdryer, mini toiletries, extra pillows and even a fridge and microwave too. You also have a thermostat in the room so you can adjust heating to your preference. The breakfasts were very tasty and with staggered time slots so you each got table service with the hosts full attention . The host was very friendly and super helpful with local knowledge. The Inn was beautifully furnished.
Disliked: We stayed in the garden room on the ground floor which is a lovely room in terms of styling (maybe too much furniture) , but it is a dark and dingy room, and could do with a bit of a revamp in places with some peeling wallpaper and slight damp smell. Earliest breakfast slot was 8am which was quite late for us as we would have liked to have got up onto the Acadia park to beat the rush. 7.30am would have been perfect.

Liked: Location made walking to town easy. Set in a neighborhood made it quiet.
Disliked: No contact with hosts. Room was poorly maintained and furnished with outdated items. Our suite was separate from main house and had no room cleaning and no breakfast available. Garden area was poorly maintained. Table and chairs outside our room were wet and covered with leaves.
