Reasonable Choice All Things Considered
Liked: Very modest arrangements but certainly a value given the location. Bathroom and public facilities were fine
Disliked: Too cramped but understandable given the location

A rip off
Disliked: There was NO HOT WATER for a shower in the morning. The staff seemed little concerned, and offered me a paltry $25.00 refund. Thanks for nothing!

Liked: It is definitely a good choice based on price and location. The Wi-Fi (using it from the second floor) was great. I saw many options in the breakfast too, like bagels, toast, cheese, cream cheese, cereals, milk, yogurt, watermelon, coffee and tea. The size of the room and bathroom was more than enough for me.
Disliked: The afternoon-evening receptionist was not very friendly. The room was in the second floor, so no problem about using stairs (they don't have elevators), but it was very close to the street, it is possible to hear traffic noise.

make sure you know what...
Liked: Front staff very nice, outside our room was a general kitchen that had a very nice selection of contenintal breakfast items and also snacks. Location was near chelsea market and easy access to subway. LYFT, Uber, Taxis cannot pick you up outside most of the time. Just have them pick you up down at Steakhouse just 1/2 block away.
Disliked: the room was not the size as shown on booking.com. Look at their website and it will show correct size. it is supposed to be a suite and it is not. We were stuck on the first floor, tv only three channels works, when you turn on cold water it comes out hot, the shower tempeture varied by 10 to 15 degrees without adjusting tempature. The room was brutally hot, because on this floor they have central heat they keep it very warm, hot to keep the common areas warm. When we complained nothing, front desk said had others complain about this and also the room size is not as advertised. You are not supposed to open the window but thank god we were able to open it a little bit or we would have left and paid for another hotel. So I guess the other floors might not be so bad. On the final day the manager finally offered to move us. But the front desk people were nice, the food I liked, the location is super, the room was very clean. I would not stay here again but at the end of the trip we were ok because it was New York. It was my sons graduation trip.
