Fabulous, arty, quirky base for...
Liked: The entire experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly, professional, chill and accommodating. I especially appreciated the manager (whose name I forgot-sorry!) who went above and beyond. Word to all guests--bring your own warmth, friendliness and understanding to hotel staff. They need and deserve it. Location is fabulous. It is at the northern edge of the West Village, not far from the Highline but WAY cheaper than lots of other nice hotels. Breakfast is pleasantly continental; there is an indoor and outdoor area to eat if you need to keep Covid safe. Covid safety measures are A ok. Rooms are quirky and cool.
Disliked: Keep in mind it is a walk up--no elevator. I got upgraded to a suite which was lovely but it was on the fifth floor. I knew it was a walk up in advance so no worries for me but you should know before you go.

Liked: the price was very good, breakfast good bonus, location was perfect for us. The staff helpful.
Disliked: our room wasn?t cleaned up the second day and the personnel didn?t handle my question about it very well, the next day room was cleaned up, but emptying the bin was forgotten. also, my question about any vacant rooms on arrival , as our room was next to the breakfast room, wasn?t handled ok. I know, these are minor things, but with small improvements the level of service would be much better. I?d also recommend a thorough cleaning to the rooms?

Fabulous, friendly clean hotel
Liked: .Amazing friendly hotel right at the heart if chelsea market area. Close to subway very central. Loved the theme room and brilliant shower. Bed very comfy clean room, only one snag couldnt open the window but aircon worked yes in December we needed aircon, it was unusually warm in New York.Nice continental breakfast and all important coffee. Room benefit of having safe, fridge, iron & board especially liked the dimmer light over the main bed area. Would definitely use again and recommend. Great size room as well.
Disliked: Window wouldnt open

Liked: One person of the staff, a tall thin guy, was very kind. Situation id good. Rooms are not bad. Bathroom in the room has a good size.
Disliked: After almost 24 hours of a hard trío, the least one expect when arriving at your hotel is some kindness. The person at the reception was extraordinary rude, I am bit a native english speaker but I can speak at a medium level, the man in the reception was unpolite and rude, It seems like if he was more intereses in other things than giving a good service to customers. 7 days there, only two days the room was cleant. You have to request It, but even if you do, It is not guaranteed. Breakfast included but when you arrive to the kitchen there is nothing and you have to go to the reception to ask for a croissant or a bafle (one per person), in that condiciones, I would suggest the manager not to include It.

A perfect ten place to...
Liked: Great location: >1 min of walking to subway, >5 mins to Chelsea Market and High Line (you can get on high line and walk for about 1 mins to Hudson Yard to shop, visit the Edge and Vessel), >5 mins walking to great bakery/cafe, Starbucks Reserve, three Michelin rated Chinese restaurants, Apple Store, Google Store, and CVS pharmacy. Quiet and Clean room.Safe: front door of the hotel is secured by card key and 24x7 guarded by hotel staff.Free daily breakfast (very good).Free WIFI and business center.Very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: I wish they have partnership with a nearby parking garage that is <5 mins of walking.
