Great location with beautiful views!
Liked: Loved this hotel! We had a beautiful view out of our window, and our room was roomy and very comfortable. The bed was great, and we slept well. We’d love to stay again!

Lovely hotel
Liked: Staff are very friendly, location is good if you’re visiting Chatsworth as we were. Good quality hotel with very nice furnishings.
Disliked: Room was boiling hot, no air con or fan.

Liked: Did not eat in the hotel.
Disliked: I am in my 80's and found it hazardous getting in the bath to have a shower; the bathroom was cramped with little room/shelves to place toiletries et al

This was my 2nd visit...
Liked: Reception staff helpful
Disliked: I had a twin room (no.22), as I expected to be with my wife. Even by myself the room felt cramped and the beds were very narrow.I had dinner in the Brasserie and each course was a disappointment. The vegetable soup looked and tasted like tomatoe soup. The bread was not of the quality I expected. The Monkfish tail came on the bone and and had only a small eatable element. The apple and rhubarb crumble was also disappointing with a very hard crumble.
