I loved the Nylo Dallas. If you are an artist, or love 'out-of-the-box' milieu, please stay there. It's like staying at an artist's home, who has imagination. No cookie-cutter/chain design. This place was authentic artistry with colourful lighting. I loved it. Service was excellent.

Liked: I loved the design, the 'chill' artistic atmosphere, the colour; I loved the dress code policy!
Disliked: Nothing!

We loved NYLO. The rooms were great, and it was less than a 5 minute walk to the venue. The food at the hotel bar/bistro was excellent, and the rooftop infinity pool was gorgeous, as was the view of the skyline at night. I would definitely stay at this place again and highly recommend it to others.

Liked: View; location; decor; friendly staff; FOOD!
Disliked: A little noisy; rooms could use more sound proofing.

Disliked: The parking situation. There is free hotel guest parking, however, the lot is free to others so when the lot is full, hotel guests are forced to valet for $35.

Good for the Southside of...

Liked: The breakfast was pretty good, but they add on a 20% gratuity which is too high for the southside of Dallas.
Disliked: The mirror was missing in my hotel room and the staff didn't even seem to know about it. Also, they would have more guests if they added a gym.

It was the perfect hotel...

Liked: The rooftop bar and the view of the skyline was amazing! Love the artsy decor, the rooms were very unique and very comfortable.
Disliked: I would have liked a smoking section up on the roof but I understand. The music was a bit loud and the speakers were rattling.. but I still had a fantastic time.

Liked: The staff did a great job of problem solving with us.
Disliked: Took a long time to answer the phones but they may have been due to higher than usual demand during the solar eclipse weekend.

great for a short stay...

Liked: Very convenient for a short trip arriving/departing by car (free parking), comfortable room in a converted warehouse building, hip design details and an awesome rooftop bar with skyline view and heated pool.
Disliked: I never could figure out the TV's chromecast feature, would have preferred some easier AV connections and a bluetooth stereo in the room. Could have used another table and chair in the room as well.
