Good location but a hot...

Liked: Good location, staff is friendly
Disliked: There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. The room was very hot and stuffy, the bed was not comfortable and the room was not clean. Crumbs on the floor and bathroom were run down. The pool and hot tub was closed so we had to walk next door to use the Carlton Hotels facilities. The whole hotel needs a major remodel, and it could be wonderful.

Liked: The location and food. Nice clean room.
Disliked: Yet again, ripped off by hotels charging guests to park. Unbelievable cost of £20 added to your stay. Would have considered a second night but not with another £20 charge to park!!

Disliked: No one told us about paying for parking. Don't mind paying something, but £50 and I know people paid more should not have to pay that much to stay somewhere you uave already paid to stay.This put us off from ever going back.

Awful

Disliked: Check-in was at 16:00 but did not end up in our room until 17:00 as the staff kept on saying that our room was not ready when check out is at 11:00. The breakfast was overpriced and the place for 200 quid is not worth it as we had to use the facilities next door at that point. I and my fiance should have booked it at the next door hotel. They did have an outdoor poole, but it was out of use, and as a very expensive hotel, you would think that they would have serviced it. The room itself was disappointing as the reason why I booked it was because of the pictures and it was not the best-looking as it was just 2 singles pushed together, and a random door in our room which though the key hole you could see the room next to ours. My fiance had a bed bug bite, which the hotel needs to sort out. Housekeeping just walked into our room when I was taking a nap and did not apologise. Overall over priced and not worth the money.
