I can’t be bothered
Liked: I did not like anything about the property. I lost my wallet. The evening reception Man could not have cleared less. He had the audacity to make us pay up-to-date and lockdown room so we could not get back in electronically he was the important one. Rest of staff were very friendly. I will never return.
Disliked: We were there for six days and had no water in our shower the whole time we were there we were told to run the shower longer for it to get hot. It never did food was poor breakfast was self service. Everything was dry because of the heat lamps.

Great location and reasonable value...
Liked: Room on third floor was excellent, large and with sea view from the needles to Old Harry. Breakfast was pretty good for an hotel.
Disliked: First the Pool, lesure Club at the adjoining Carlton was not open at 9am as promised. Even just befor e10am the staff member with the key had not arrived and evidently there was o spare key that could be found,Secondly, the lift went out of order soon after our arrival. Fortunately our bags were not too heavy. Poor doorman who had to carry down bags for a coach party!

Liked: A good breakfast
Disliked: We were moved to the sister hotel The Carlton I had previously booked a premium room with a sea view with the East Cliff Hotel which the Carlton could NOT accommodate We were put in a room which was in between floors which had no direct lift so carrying suitcases was made it very difficult Also on checking availability with the East Cliff Hotel the room I booked was still available although we were told that the hotel was closed.This has put us off booking with Booking com in the future

Liked: Staff at the breakfast and room was lovely + large
Disliked: Reception check in unhelpful.Unable to provide me with an invoice receipt for work, as I booked + paid through booking.com on my business card before arrival. Booking.com does not issue the receipts and I have been requested to provide it for work finance to reconcile my payment. Not my problem attitude. If Booking.com & the hotel cannot facilitate an invoice request

Liked: The sea views! The staff were all lovely particularly Bharath and Hari. Josefina on reception was excellent. All cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful.
Disliked: No removable shower head in bathroom. Superior rooms were shabby , all the windows were rusted really hard to open including balcony doors. All furniture looks tired and shabby, chairs were stained, tables etc chipped . TV remote had no back on it & had to hold batteries in to change channel! Bathroom handle fell off nearly hit our dog. The hotel needs some money spending on it , it could be lovely with more maintenance. Appalled at having to pay £20 a day for car !! Balcony was dirty with a rusty table and one rickety wooden chair, not good for so called superior room

Great location and spacious comfortable...
Liked: The location was great for the beach and pier, our room was very spacious and bed was super comfy with a lovely balcony and view of the beach. Breakfast was nice with a decent coffee machine & delicious pastries.
Disliked: Unfortunately all the facilities at the hotel were closed so you had to go next door for the bar, restaurant & pool. So we ate out and brought some snacks & drinks back to the room for the evening - a shame there was no fridge in the room to keep it all cold though.
