Best Western Plus The Connaught Hotel

Not what we were expecting...

Liked: Was in a good location and bed was comfortable. Was clean enough
Disliked: We stayed for one night as part of our honeymoon which we made explicit on the booking. Not so much as a congratulations was offered.The jacuzzi (one of the main reasons we booked) was out of order. These things happen, but no real apology or offer of compensation for this.To top it all off they had a function on, so we couldn’t make use of a huge chunk of the space for the majority of our stay. Again, we appreciate these things happen but it hugely impacted our stay and there was no apology or compensation for this.Paid parking of £10 also is not particularly welcoming and the rooms were basic for the price.

Lovely hotel, would stay there...

Liked: Easy access to beach, both walking and car..The hotel was lovely although we did have a little hiccup with our room but they changed the room straight away and upgraded it.
Disliked: I liked everything

Liked: Excellent staff , who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.Swimming pool and spa was great, special shout out to Jessie (operational manager)who is the perfect Mr People person ( please don’t change, he was a delight to talk to)
Disliked: Nothing
